One of the problems security professionals face is something that the insurance business faces.  Despite the facts and figures, fancy pie charts and case studies to support each, convincing individuals and businesses that they need protection is a tough slog.  The mindset that “it won’t happen to me” is often rationale enough to not spend more money on something that may or may not happen to you or your business.
